Meeting Dr. Enrique Seamanduras-Navarro of DOHC Primary Care in Coachella
(March 13, 2023 – Palm Springs, CA) When the Coachella Primary Care Clinic for Desert Oasis Healthcare (DOHC) held a “Dia de la Familia” Open House on Saturday, March 11, the Petting Zoo and Critter Show may have upstaged Dr. Seamanduras-Navarro for the younger attendees, including his own young son Benjamin who was there in his mother’s arms.
However, the dozens of parents and grandparents with those children enjoyed the opportunity to meet the doctor, get health screenings, and learn more about DOHC services. La Poderosa Radio broadcast remotely from the venue and kept things lively with music and giveaways, while everyone enjoyed delicious tacos and other tasty treats. Three lucky people each left with a $50 gift card to Food 4 Less, at the location of the DOHC Medical Group Primary Care Clinic at 49201 Grapefruit Blvd., Suite 3 in Coachella.
“What a great opportunity to meet the local community, face-to-face, and have a chance to talk with so many people outside of an exam room,” said Dr. Seamanduras-Navarro, an internal medicine doctor who joined DOHC’s staff a few months ago. “I have to give a special thanks to Marcos Palma, who had been promoting the event on his popular ‘Pico de Gallo’ TV show and acted as a sort of volunteer ‘master of ceremonies’ during the event. With his winning personality, it is easy to see why he has such deep ties to the community. I appreciate all of the introductions he made for me.”
Dr. Seamanduras-Navarro and other representatives of DOHC, including their Mobile Health Clinic, will also be attending an event presented by the California Farmworkers Foundation at Anthony Vineyards in Coachella on Sunday, March 19 from 11:00am – 4:00pm. With more than 40 agencies there to provide information about their services, Marcos Palma will be greeting guests and inviting everyone to enjoy the food, music, and fun at this free event.
