About the Provider
With three sisters as nurses, it’s little wonder that Dr. Gutierrez-Go developed a passion for healthcare and medicine. It’s a passion she wants to pass on to her pediatric patients.
“I want them to feel empowered from an early age to take an active role in their own health. I encourage them to ask as many questions as they like, so they’ll know what to do to maintain a healthy lifestyle and participate in their own treatment plans,” she says. “I get such a sense of satisfaction in helping my patients improve and recover from whatever may be ailing them.”
Dr. Gutierrez-Go has been an inspiration to her children, just as her sisters were to her. One son, Henry, is an Ultrasound Technician at Las Vegas Hospital and Urgent Care, while another son, Patrick, is finishing his Family Practice Residency at Kaiser-Riverside. Not to be left behind, daughter Elizabeth is in her third year of medical school. As often as possible, Dr. Gutierrez-Go and her husband love to spend time with their busy family. “I couldn’t be more proud of our children. My family and my faith in God are both real inspirations for me. They provide the energy I need to give my patients my best every day,” she continued.
As a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics, a Fellow of the American Board of Pediatrics, and a member of the California Medical Association, Dr. Gutierrez-Go has also served for several years as the pediatric department chair at John F. Kennedy Memorial Hospital in Indio.
