Attention DOHC Members!

Rite Aid is permanently closing pharmacy locations nationwide. 

If you currently use Rite Aid to fill your prescriptions, it’s important to act now to avoid delays in filling your prescriptions.

What You Need to Do:

• Contact your Rite Aid location to see if they have forwarded your prescriptions to another pharmacy, if that site is acceptable to you, confirm that the prescriptions have been sent
• If you chose a different pharmacy, contact that pharmacy to have them to request your prescriptions to be forwarded to them
• Notify DOHC of your new pharmacy (respond to text or call 760-969-6560)

• Select the new pharmacy you want to use

• Call that pharmacy directly to request a prescription transfer
  (Please note: Rite Aid will not initiate the transfer—you must start the process with your new pharmacy)

• If you have a prescription with no remaining refills, this prescription will not be transferred to the new pharmacy.  You will need to call your physician to have a new prescription sent to your new pharmacy.
