Sandra Artinian, BSN, RN

Sandy Artinian joins Desert Oasis Healthcare as the new Maternal Educator, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience in maternal and child health. A graduate of Loma Linda University School of Nursing, Sandra has spent most of her career working with new mothers and families in both hospital and clinical settings throughout Southern California. Her experience spans labor and delivery, postpartum care, pediatrics, and lactation education, including leading a postpartum hospital unit to achieve the prestigious Baby Friendly Hospital designation.

Sandy is passionate about educating her patients, believing that "knowledge is power" when it comes to navigating the life-changing event of having a baby. Her advice to patients is simple: "Always be your own and your baby's health advocate. Get your facts from trusted sources... avoid social media for health-related information". She loves to provide support and encouragement to families.
