Patient satisfaction is at the heart of Dr. Gustavo Paredes' practice. He takes immense pride in his ability to connect with people from a wide range of backgrounds and often finds himself working with some of the most vulnerable members of the community. He finds joy in getting to know his patients and is dedicated to developing a strong patient-doctor partnership. His approachable and compassionate nature is one of the reasons patients love seeing him. Dr. Paredes treats everyone with the same level of care and respect that he would extend to his own family, which helps create a comforting and trusting environment.
Dr. Paredes is a firm believer in the idea that "prevention is the best medicine;' and he makes it a point to share this important message with all his patients. For Dr. Paredes, the real reward comes from seeing the positive changes in his patients' lives. Whether it is guiding someone through a challenging recovery or celebrating their return to health, his professional satisfaction comes from making a difference in the lives of his patients. His goal is to always support them on their health journey, ensuring they feel cared for every step of the way.
Dr. Paredes has over 30 years of experience in the medical field. He is a board-certified Family Medicine physician. He earned his medical degree from San Carlos University in Guatemala City, Guatemala. His Family Medicine specialty was completed at Bella Vista Hospital in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico. In addition, he completed a fellowship in Geriatrics from the University of Puerto Rico (UPR) / Veterans Affairs Caribbean Healthcare System (VACHS) in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Early in his career, he worked for the USC General Clinical Research Center (GCRC), which conducted research into the genetics and prevention of diabetes in the Hispanic American community. He moved to the Coachella Valley over 7 years ago and has happily served our community since then. In his spare time, Dr. Paredes volunteers at his local church and enjoys spending time with his family and beloved pets.

Se enorgullece mucho de su capacidad para conectar con personas de una gran variedad de origenes y trabaja con algunos de los mi em bros mas vulnerables de su comunidad. El disfruta de conocer mas a sus pacientes y esta dedicado a ayudarlos a alcanzar su mejor salud posible. Su naturaleza accesible y compasiva es una de las razones por las que a los pacientes les encanta verlo. El Dr. Paredes trata a todos sus pacientes con el mismo nivel de cuidado y respeto que ofreceria a su propia familia, lo que ayuda a crear un ambiente comodo y de confianza.

El Dr. Paredes es un firme creyente en la idea de que "la prevencion es la mejor medicina" y se asegura de compartir este importante mensaje con todos sus pacientes. . El Dr. Paredes obtuvo su titulo de Medico y Cirujano en la Universidad de San Carlos, Ciudad de Guatemala, Guatemala. Su especialidad en Medicina Familiar la completo en el Hospital Bella Vista en Mayaguez, Puerto Rico. Ademas, realizo un Fellowship en Geriatria de la Universidad de Puerto Rico (UPR) /Veterans Affairs Caribbean Healthcare System (VACHS) en San Juan, Puerto Rico. Temprano en su carrera, trabajo para el USC General Clinical Research Center (GCRC), el cual conduce investigaciones en el area de la genetica y prevencion de la diabetes en la comunidad hispanoamericana. Hace mas de 7 anos que el Dr. Paredes se mudo al Valle de Coachella y desde entonces esta sirviendo a su comunidad. En su tiempo libre, el Dr. Paredes se ofrece como voluntario en su iglesia local y disfruta de pasar tiempo con su familia y sus adorables mascot
