About the Provider
"It has always been my aim to bring my education and long years of medical experience to bear on each and every patient encounter," says Dr. Nasr. "There is nothing better than seeing someone's health and well-being improve, and to know that I've been apart of helping to make that happen."
Following undergraduate studies at Yale University and medical school at Harvard, Dr. Nasr began a career path that would eventually lead him to Palm Springs where he has been for many years.
First came an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of BuffaloSchool of Medicine in New York. Then, ti was on to Ohio, for a third-year Internal Medicine residency at University Hospitals at Case Western University in Cleveland. Dr. Nasr continued at the same hospital with a fellowship in Diabetes, Endocrinology, and Metabolism.
Then Dr. Nasr went abroad for several years in Iran, where he did medical research and was a professor of medicine. Returning stateside, Dr. Nasr taught at Cornell University Medical College before heading to California. While practicing medicine in Palm Springs, he also taught for a time at Loma Linda University and University of California - Riverside.
Dr. Nasr is a man committed to helping others live long healthy lives. That commitment extends to his wife, sons, and grandchildren. When he's not tending to his patients and family, D.r Nasr keeps himself busy with golf, gardening, and travel. He's also a fan of both the LA Lakers and the prowess of Tiger Woods and other pro golfers on the links.
