About the Provider

For Dr. Javed Ahmad, the focus is on patient care, family, and cricket. Yes, cricket! Dr. Ahmad is from Pakistan where the British sport that loosely resembles baseball has some of its most devoted fans. But outside the pitch, which is the playing field in cricket, Dr. Ahmad's eye is on providing quality care for every patient.

"I decided to pursue a career in healthcare in order to be of service to humanity,” Dr. Ahmad said. "The most rewarding part of my work is interacting with people and receiving the prayers and goodwill from my patients and their families.” His best advice to the people he cares for is to comply with the diet and medications he prescribes.

Dr. Ahmad also is devoted to his family. He and his wife have two adult children - one is in medical school and the other is a college undergraduate. In addition to his active family life and medical practice, Dr. Ahmad finds time for travel, hiking, and of course, cricket. He's an avid fan of the Australian and Pakistani cricket teams.
